MdM France
The Mission France of Medecins du Monde conducts 107 programs in 29 towns. It runs 21 Centres for Care and Orientation (CASO) and 77 mobile units for access to health and prevention. 89% of the persons received for the first time in CASO are foreigners. Among them 74% are undocumented and 27% asylum seekers.
The Mission France also conducts 8 programs of prevention and harm reduction (RR) beside drug users.
The missions are providing primary health care, prevention and orientation of migrants towards partners and mainstream health care system. Testimonies on precarious living conditions and medical and social datas collected through the health centres feed the annual report used for advocacy work.
Moreover, Medecins du Monde Mission France keeps developing programs for prevention, testing and psychological suffering.
