MdM Portugal - Medicos do Mundo
Medicos do Mundo - Portugal is a non-governmental organization of humanitarian aid and development cooperation, without policy affiliation or religion.
"We fight against all diseases, even the injustice ..." is MdM- P’s motto. They believe in humanitarian aid as a way to ease the suffering of populations affected by war, ethnic conflicts, natural disasters, disease, exclusion social, poverty, drug addiction, prostitution, violation of human rights and degradation of environmental quality.
At a National Level, MdM - P has 4 projects in Lisboa, Loures, Seixal and Porto, where they work with undocumented migrants in Portugal since 1999, the activities of MdM - P are led by an operational team, which is supported by the direction of the association and a group of more than 200 active volunteers. Over the years, the work of MdM -P received several distinctions.
