MdM Spain - Medicos del Mundo
The work done with immigrant people are of three types: direct medical assistance to people who do not have access to the health system; social counselling and psychological support; and referrals to the public health system and provision of information on other available public resources.
Médicos del Mundo Spain develops programs with other vulnerable populations like drug consumer people; groups of roma population who remain socially and sanitarily vulnerable; persons in situation of prostitution; homeless and houseless in situation of social exclusion; and transgender people without resources.
Advocacy
By increasing political work, public events, networking and social mobilization, Médicos del Mundo Spain, like one of its main strategic goal, the social change.
